Children’s author visits Blake

Blake is hosting Edmonton author Natasha Deen at the school on Wednesday, April 19.

Deen writes books for children and young adults, mixing “mystery, action, and creepy with a whole lot of humour,” as she describes it. LarkShe writes stories to help kids “find their inner superhero.”

Deen will be speaking to students in kindergarten through grade 3 in the gym April 19 at 9:05 a.m., followed by a presentation to grades 4, 5 and 6 students in the library at 10:15 a.m.

Deen’s books are for sale, and if the school community orders over $150, we get a $20 per cent discount and free shipping. What a deal!

Have a look at Deen’s books here and let Blake teacher/librarian Kelly Dyment ( know by Friday, April 21 if you’d like to place an order.
